Your comments are valuable in that they add an interactive dimension to our website. For example, in 2006 Ted Bates wrote to say that from 1945 until 1959 he and his family lived in one of the Homefield Cottages located close to St Michael and All Angels (sometimes referred to as St Michael's) church in Thursley Village. He has many happy memories of Christmas parties organised by the Lorne Scots detachment at Tweedsmuir Camp. His family also attended Polish Sunday Mass held in the camp's chapel every week at 10.30 am.
